I saw a Googler ( Male ) hit a lady multiple times in the cafe, should I report?
For coding/algorithm interviews, am I suppose to know advanced algorithms such as Convex Hull? Or will it just be hard versions of basic concepts (DP, Graphs etc.)? #janestreet
Man, sometimes I read these kinds of posts and think am I that stupid?
Why lol? You work at Paypal, by no means are you stupid from technical aspect. Stupid is me who took Google offer.
Just memorize more leetcode @wantmorea$$ What’s wrong with Google ?
OP what is ur level at Google?
L3
Yoe?
Convex hull is an "advanced" algorithm?
Advanced in the sense that you cannot invent it if you haven't seen the algorithm before. basically any algorithm that has a name and isn't taught in undergrad or grad DS&A course.
Of course you can invent it. Someone did.
Honestly I feel like the process is so variable that if your interviewer doesn't like u they'll choose some weird ass algo and nitpick the shit out of it, so prey you get an interviewer that likes you
Maybe too late but nah you shouldn’t see advanced algos like that. I found their questions more procedural than leetcode styled with the “ah ha moments”
When did you interview, and what was the outcome? Are you an experienced engineer?
My friend went there, said it was just about clean code & good readability
Yes, I understand that is the most important part, but question is do I need to write Graham's algorithm AND in a clean and readable way.
What do you think?
