When I was in undergrad, Jane Street was known to give only one interview opportunity in a lifetime. Is this true? EDIT: if not, how long is their cooldown?

Bit more context is that this is what candidates used to say about JSC, and so far I haven’t seen anyone in my network who got a second chance interview
I got my offer 2nd time around — never was resume rejected - waited about 9 months before applying again
@JS Was that when you were in school?
No

Their website. “Can I reinterview if I was rejected? How long do I have to wait before I can reapply? You can absolutely reinterview if it didn’t work out the first time. Plenty of people who currently work at Jane Street didn’t make it through our interview process their first time around. We usually recommend waiting to reapply for at least a year (in the case of current students), or until your experience or circumstances have significantly changed (in the case of experienced hires). This is not a hard and fast rule, but we think it’s a reasonable guideline.”
