ESRI INTERVIEW

I have an technical phone screening Interview at ESRI for a position of ux architect , what questions I can expect , how should I prepare?

Hulu dzgn_rulez Dec 4, 2019

Esri is pretty desperate for designers, youโ€™ll need a pretty decent portfolio and better than average communication skills and A LOT of patience for the 4 - 6 long hiring process. Youโ€™ll need to love being in the details of design and making decisions that come out of large meetings with many opinions. The place is known for intelligent people who come from all over the world, but man is the tech stuck in the dark ages. There are also a lot of skeletons in the closet, politics can be pretty extreme there. The work is otherwise pretty easy and youโ€™d work on a lot of interesting projects and get some pretty amazing parties. You can ask about how requirements are made there, and how UX works with the product team youโ€™ll be working on. If you want to really find out how the company operates you can ask who on your cross functional team is an approver or if they use a RACI charts, how brainstorming sessions happen or typical UX stuff.
