https://www.wsj.com/articles/xerox-considers-takeover-offer-for-hp-11573012201 Who still has a printer at home?
HP has some large IT contracts with the gov full of devs. They bought EDS years back to expand their software services
No.. that's HPE and they split that into DXC.
What? I thought Xerox is a shittier company than HP.
I have a printer that the kids use for coloring sheets and I occasionally use it to print practice plans and lineups for my son's baseball team. That's it. I made a lot of money in that industry but left it a decade ago because the margins weren't enough to make good money in sales anymore. Print volumes (especially color) were still growing, but that didn't matter because I wasn't paid on recurring revenue. Print management software was expensive and easy to sell to the enterprise because it promised lower volumes and fewer machines, but we got peanuts on that because the toner heads didn't get it.
Your poll sucks.
