So my startup has failed after an intense 2 years & it's time for me to move on. I was the none technical cofounder/ jack of all trades, master of none. I did everything from UX to sales, marketing, fundraising, legal, operations expect the graphic design & programming. What are my options to get a job in tech? Background is unconventional: undergrad civil engineering, masters construction project management, 3 years in oil & gas, 1 year engineering manager in civil engineering, no salesforce or any official training, just 2 intense years of running a startup up to 7 employees.
I had a similar experience, ended up as a PM. It's fucking awesome. You get paid to build solutions with people. Beats the hell out of most non-technical roles and feeds into every aspect of a company.
BD or Product usually
Anybody can code. Few can motivate and keep a team on track in regards to the product and cultural goals. Find a spot where you can make an impact in day one.
Spoken like a true product manager.
If anybody can code, anyone can track projects as well
Spoken like a true engineer.

Thanks for the replies... Iβm currently in austin & the market here is decent. Do you think moving to Bay Area or LA would be a good idea?
Where to get a job now?
If you love Product, you can apply for Product Analyst or Associate PM roles at a startup. I did the same To get my foot in the door.
