Job offer from F5 Networks
Hello, a friend of mine got a job offer from F5 for enter level Software Engineering in Seattle Base: $115K Sign on: $10k Stocks: $50k over 4 years I wanted to ask about what people think about this offer? I know the market isn’t great but for Seattle this feels kinda less. Also would love to know about work culture at F5 and what has people’s experiences been. Thanks for all the valuable help.

If it’s for SEI then that’s the best offer I think I’ve seen for that level. If it’s SEII then that’s an ok offer. For first job that is a solid offer for sure. Work culture is really team dependent but overall F5 had excellent WLB and pretty low stress especially for SEI. Tons of opportunity to grow and work on some modern technology if you’re on the right team. If not you can be stuck wallowing in legacy code…
For a new Software Engineer that's a "Take it" offer for sure
