Job offer from Paypal
Hey I completed my all three rounds of interview from PayPal, Bangalore. They are delaying the Hiring manager round by telling that they are not able to schedule a hiring manager round, is there something going on in paypal? Should I expect a job offer to be rolled out by paypal?
Happened same with me. Got a hire update after all technical rounds and later they are unable to find a team/hiring manager to match. Their hiring process sucks. You apply now and the process may take 6-7 months depending upon when they want to hire or just rush everyone into their hiring drives. So, yeah one can't get an offer letter without going through hiring manager round. Better you keep following up with them. Else they may fill the position with someone else or just close it.

No, I am not joining PayPal. Got offer from Microsoft. Work is good here but depends on the team. Can't comment on layoffs because I have been here for few months only.

The interview was fairly straightforward with questions on ds, java and system design system.

Is there any reason why they take such a long time to do the hiring manager round?
