Johnson & Johnson TC for Mechanical Engineer in Surgical Robotics department?

I have a coming offer as a Mechanical Engineer in the Surgical Robotics teams at JnJ in Santa Clara. Just want to know what I should expect in TC for this role? Also, what is the median TC in Med Tech at Bay Area? Update: got an offer from JnJ but for a different team within the Surgical Robotics department (Auris Health). $120k base + 9% perf bonus. I know I have 4 years of exp but seems like the role is for grade 23, so not all of the skills are required... YOE: 4 years current TC: ~94k/year in LA #engineering #johnsonandjohnson

Interested in hearing other input. I’d expect you to come in around pay grade 24 (associate/primary) with the YoE, assuming you have just a BSE. I’d guess ~$120k TC incl target bonus but YMMV. If you’re lucky, might come in at Senior (grade 25).

I replied to OP on another post he made but 120 TC would be low for 4 yoe. And grade 25 is mid level, not senior.

You’re right, I am coming from the Cincinnati office where 120 would be an expected TC, though I’d expect 120 base for Santa Clara. Also, grade 25 is classified as senior engineer at J&J, but still attainable with 4-7yoe.

How do you guys get info about medtech pay ranges? What does a 24/25 range in Cincinnati look like in comparison to 24/25 in Santa Clara.

I’m PG 25 with total comp of 150k

What's your base pay? And what does the TC package look like at JnJ? Is there any RSU or just bonus? I'm just curious thought

I recently accepted an offer under Ethicon as a senior ME. ~$150k base with 30k sign on and 20k bonus. No stock whatsoever but a lot of other benefits that actually come in as cash.
