Half a year ago I accepted an E5 offer that was ~400k tc but now it’s like 330k? Idk. Grant price was $350-360 Had google L4 offer for around 320-330k first year. Talking to my google recruiter tomorrow. If I can get the same tc at google for L4 vs my current E5 comp, should I bail out? Or wait 6 months and try to go for L5 at google? This is my first stint in big tech and I don’t want ppl to think I got pipped from Meta after 6 months. But it’s a chance to get google on resume without having to interview. Big flex for my country (non USA) Priority is WLB Current TC like 320-340. Don’t want to check. 8 YOE #google #facebook #snap #pinterest #wish

Pinterest vs Reddit Offer Evaluation
If the comp is literally the same I don't really see any point in switching tbh (unless you just like the company more). Why not interview in other places?
One question yo ask yourself: what happens if Google's stock drops 25% a year later?
Hit up my amazon recruiter
He will come back here with the same nonsense.
Now you can join Google at peak price lol
Does whether or not you are enjoying the work and jiving with the team have any bearing on the decision? Also if it’s a great fit they might take care of you at the refresh / time to primo could be shorter, no?
Your refresher will have more shares, it doesn't really matter that much.
Try other companies. G/F are not worth it now. 50K is nothing to switch for in the long run.
Inb4 you jump to Google and it ranks hard!
Best thing to do is to leave immediately! Maybe for amzn
Do you have a signing bonus/relocation bonus from Meta? If so, at least wait out a full year so you're not on the hook to pay those back
Sure, but big “if”
Yeah I had strong competing offers at the time for the L4 offer. Prolly gonna get lowballed now.
