Joining new company on H1b transfer receipt
I have read a lot of posts about people suggesting there are "risks" involved in joining new firm on H1b receipt Won't the attorneys be able to asses based on the candidates profile (education background, past experience, any visa violation) & requirements for the new role if a transfer might get rejected? I think the rejection happen because candidates profile might violate a specific law/rule or their education/employment background doesn't match current role.. Don't want to delay joining new company just because someone's transfer got rejected and thinking it might also happen to me. What's others opinion on this matter? Role - software engineer @ Splunk TC - 200k

It's a big risk. People have got burned before
Yes, they can be declined with a RFE. They are able to just decline a transfer. It is not always likely but keep in mind if you do make the move and they decline the transfer you need to leave the country in 24 or 48 hours. Can't remember the exact time.
@OP what did you end up doing? Did you join on receipt?
It does not work that way. Sometimes attorneys can also be wrong.
