My friend is in LTIMindTree. He is getting onboarded onto Nordea Bank. If any reviews about this account on work culture, hours, etc would be appreciated.
It does somewhat depend on country (Nordics vs PL/EE) and role (IC vs PM)
Overall, rest and vest, actually not even vest unless you're C-level or something so just rest I guess? Only really recommended to fresh grads to build up a nice name on the CV, oldies that are counting years to retirement and don't give a fuck, or low-ambition parasites excellent at storytelling that can just float around forever working like 5h/week and look like all stars among the general incompetence.
Bloated with powerpointers and extremely politicized with heavy sign-off culture, can't get anything done without hoardes of clueless seniors reviewing work in collective decision forums and stating they can't really decide because they don't have enough information. They never do of course.
It sounds horrible but it's actually not that bad, because funnily enough ultimately nothing of it really matters. It's not the US where you get fired if you don't deliver, and there's plenty of excuses/reasons to draw from on why and how it's not your fault missing that deadline. Unless you're a director or something of course, but in that case you have your nice command and control buttons to push behind the scene, so not really any different than other large banks.
WLB is great, and really over the top if you're smart enough to deflect the pressure onto others and use the bloated governance at your advantage. Almost inexistent career/salary progression, but friendly and relaxed atmosphere, especially in local co-located teams.
