Broadcom employees on VMware acquisition
Hello Broadcom folks, How is the feel on vmware acquisition at your side ? Are you guys expecting any changes or reorg at Bcom side ? What is the general perception of Vmware in BC employees ? Hopefully your insights will help people at vmware to reduce some uncertainty. We are not getting any information from BC or VMware management on acquisition and post closing planning etc TIA.
Just another day at the office for us.
We hear nothing of the acquisition recently..but AVGO stock is fluctuating a lot.

There's going to be a lot less impact on the BC side - whoever is there is there for a reason (they're more efficient than us). On the VMware side a lot of us will have to justify our existence (aka salary)
Most people on the Broadcom side not expecting an impact except to the share price which we expect / hope will increase as VMW is absorbed and made more efficient. Most Broadcom people think VMW is bloated and will be optimized into a significant revenue / profit center like all other Broadcom acquisitions.
Our internal BUs have targets and goals. So, we are focus on that. Once you join us, it will be like that too. Really, no time to mess around.
It is accretive to earnings. Will reflect on stock price in 2 more years. Just need to wait to get paid. As Jesse Livermore, the legendary stock trader said “ ‘‘twas never my being right that made money. It was always my sitting tight that made me money.”
Wait is acquisition still on the table? 😬
