Dropbox Employee Tracking

Just curious, is anyone aware of Dropbox using employee tracking software to see % of day worked, % of time in different apps, etc. Trying to figure out how chill Dropbox really is. TC 400k

Many large companies have the capability to do this. They generally won't actually put in the effort to track every employee. Only if they're doing an investigation on someone or they have reason to believe they're not doing what they're supposed to be.

Not that I know of, also, you are generally only required to work conventional hours from 9 - 1 PST the rest is up to you how you get your work done.

I don’t think so. I’m willing to bet the data exists somewhere, but it’s not actively monitored. It could probably be aggregated and used as a termination reason if you’re consistently underperforming.
