I was blessed last month to receive a message on LinkedIn from an Albertsons recruiter asking if I was interested in a senior platform engineering role for Albertsons AI. Of course, I replied. Who wouldn't want the opportunity to work in the most innovative and prestigious company on the planet. We scheduled the phone screen and the day of, I was greeted by an engineer that claimed to be the foremost expert on java and spring technologies. He grilled me so hard on every small detail on my resume, then asked me 2 hard LC questions to solve optimally in the hour we had, and then took 5 minutes at the end to amaze me with the responses he gave to my questions. I was very impressed, never before had I been in such a challenging and eye opening interview. Somehow, I managed to pass the rigorous phone screen and moved to the virtual onsite. The recruiter let me know less than 1% of candidates make it past the phone screen, and that less than .1% of those candidates make it past onsite to an offer. I expected nothing less of Albertsons, the hiring bar was unrivaled by the 99% pass rate of lowly companies like Amazon and TikTok for instance. It was the day of the onsite and the first 2 rounds had 2 LC hard questions each, not verbatim but modified versions. Very challenging. Next interview was system design and they asked me to design Fortnite. I watched ninja play Fortnite last year so I had this one in the bag. Final round was a behavioral round with the HM. After standard questions, he then asked, "Why do u want to work at Albertsons?" I shivered. The chills resonated in my spine, the goosebumps on my arm started vibrating like glass near high pitched whistles. My eyes became bloodshot, the butterflies swarmed in my stomach, my nipples became erect. Time froze and it felt like an eternity, I had all the time in the world to come up with an answer. It was all, everything was all for this moment. I opened my mouth, releasing a long sigh that would shatter snowflakes from its warmth. Then I said I wanted to join albertsons ever since one of their employees went on the blind app and raged about how Netflix sucked and Albertsons was the best company on Earth. The hiring manager stared blankly for a moment at me and then chuckled. He looked at me straight in the eyes and it was in that instant he read my mind and saw the hundreds of posts and comments I made on the blind app about Albertsons. He then ended the interview, smiled, and said he had all he needed to know. Of course Albertsons AI had already perfected mind reading technologies, I was foolish to think i could hide anything from the all-seeing A in FANG. Worried I wouldn't get the offer, I opened up Amazon's leadership principles website and rehearsed for my upcoming amazon sde 1 onsite for bezos' pip factory. However, one hour after the onsite, recruiter lets me know she received positive feedback! Got the offer a few days later! Can't wait to join Albertsons! #albertsons #amazon Tc 490 New TC: 890
Congrats.. Yoe..!?
Damn what was the question? I heard you had to solve traveling salesman problem in 60 seconds while getting blown with a gun to your head

For real? Albertsons as the grocery company?
poggers
890k? Seems like a lowball. You can easily get 1M+ at A
It brought tears to my face to read so much passion and victory. Hopefully next year you get a better TC to reflect your beauty and person
You worked so hard to write a fake post? You are too idle compared to your colleagues in tiktok. PIP coming soon.
What is with the albertsons references on Blind? Anybody care to explain?

Thanks
