I got an offer from yelp, loved everything (the job, the pay, supportive manager) except for the 2 hour long commute both ways. I think I can handle the long commute because I am tough, until I just found out that I am pregnant. Should I stay at Cisco? Cisco has a good maternity leave policy, not sure about Yelp. Any information about Yelp's maternity leave policy? My due date is end of April, if I join now, do I still qualify for maternity leave?
Stay. Work life balance is very good for parents at cisco. And I would never consider a job with a 2 hour commute no matter how much they pay me
Thanks. I know that Cisco's maternity leave is very generous, like 6 month or so.
For sure stay
Stay and give birth in office
Hahah
I hear that if your child is born in the office s/he automatically becomes an employee with new grad base pay.
Doesn’t Cisco offer daycare that a lot of companies don’t? I heard it’s hard to get in to the daycare, but at least you have that option at Cisco
Yes, they do offer daycare, not free though:)
How ever its good for you. That way you dont have to be in a hurry or get tensed when you have at office 🙂
Stay.
Crude
Seriously !!
Make a Cisco baby.
It would be better if you stay because if you join new company you gotta prove the team about yourself which your health may or may not give 100 percent based on your health situations. As you have been working in Cisco, they know about you in general. You can take advantage and be liberal.
Leetcode
What? Seriously?
Yep
