Just sold my vmw stock.
Sold before election deadline Rather sell then buy another big tech company rather than hold AVGO. Though I know AVGO had some good gains in the past year. (NVDA)
AVGO has gone up the past ten years. But also, every Q4 they've increased their dividend for the past ten years. They are currently at what, $4-5 per share, per quarter? Not bad if you are holding anyway.

That’s your prerogative, but I’m definitely holding since there’s very real upside once the deal is finalized and VMW shares are converted over to AVGO. I might even hold on to the stock longterm since Broadcom has solid financials and has been riding the AI hype train.
