Any remote companies that don’t GAF if I work from Mexico? Dual citizen. Long story short i had been working at a startup that ran out of money, searched for ten months, then in February I started at a place as a Sr Cloud Reliability Engineer, they were okay with me working remote from Mexico City until they weren’t, sent out a “3 day in the office minimum” memo so I packed my life of 4 years into a storage unit and left my spouse behind to keep the job so we wouldn’t lose the green card for my spouse which is currently in process. Now company has reversed course and said they don’t care where we lived but when I said that I was gonna go back to Mexico it was a problem. Since Ciudad Juárez is backlogged by 2 years my spouses green card won’t be done for 2 years and we’ve already been waiting 2 years. We are open to TJ and me commuting to SD as well, but I’m not breaking up my family for this job. I’ve got 7 years of DevOps and 5 years of Sr Signal Processing/Firmware design. TC: 120k
