Premera Blue Cross HSA. For a family of 3 or more. Premium: $0 Deductible: $3,750 Microsoft funds (gives you): $2,500 Preventative care: deductible doesn't apply Before deductible: you pay 100% After deductible: you pay 10% copay until you've paid $2500 in copays. After that you pay 0%. Prescriptions: pay with deductible per above, except preventive prescriptions are free. So, if you do this right, you pay at MOST $3,750 pretax money per yea. Not a family of 3 or more? You +1 = 3000 deductible and 2000 funded + max 2000 copay = max 3000 per year. All else same You only = 1500 deductible, 1000 funded, max 1000 copay = max 1500 per year. All else same. If you're a healthy single person, you basically make money from this plan. If you're a family of 7 like me, you basically max out at $3750. Pretty good deal, but it used to be 100% free.

Copay max for three is not $1000. It is $2500.

Wow! That's a big difference!

Microsoft ☠Nutella☠ Jul 22, 2017

so you pay $7080 a year + 450 deductible + 10% up to a limit after that? Damn! Is that even a benefit?
