Senior software engineer position
Talk to someone who used to work there. Pretty sure Bridgewater is very idiosyncratic. Find someone in your LinkedIn network an ask for 15 min
Heard from old connections that their culture is… unique. Look up “radical transparency”. Something like half of ppl leave within 1-2 years. Idk don’t quote me on this but do your research and talk to ppl who work/worked there.
They record all their meetings - team, 1on1 Sounded like a very cut throat culture
Pretty brutal there from what I hear. Reali time feedback is given after every meeting and captured on a centralized meeting. Pressure is immense. Not sure it’s worth it even for the money.
Bridgewater has a very competitive and transparent performance culture. If you’re not up to standards (many aren’t) - you’ll be gone within 6 months. If your current employer is a chill 9-5 where you work 20-40 hour weeks and you aren’t consistently best in class, don’t bother

How was the interview like ?
Their interview isn’t that tough considering they are mostly screening for cultural fit. You’ll be gone pretty fast too if you were a false positive.
Feel free to DM me any questions about what it’s really like working here.
Hey, willing to refer for a position there?
It’s shit, stay at your current TC. Is this what you wanted to hear?
