How is Flow Traders in NY? I heard their AMS salary is not the top. Is it appropriate to join and ask for a NY relocation after 2 years to chase high $$$

There are positions in the remote offices for SWE but mostly low-latency C++ or FPGA. But the teams are very small. Getting transferred to the US office specifically is hard. Quite a long process and the reasoning should be justified: either business case requiring a transfer or shortage of people. Also heard that tech environment in the US office specifically is not so good. Overall wouldn’t recommend to join FT if the end goal is to get transferred to the US.
Do you know how is the pay and culture in NY for a low-latency c++ eng? Having a final round with them next week.
