microsoft is good if you are going in EM and above role, below EM, they don’t have good tech work. of course you gonna enjoy WLB at Microsoft but tech you work with will make it like career suicide
Is tech that bad? Career suicidal you mean not able to go out or hating the work?
hating the work type, you may end up learning not much sellable skills in next company. and on top of that, your EM or PEM or GEM will be spineless when it comes to promo, they generally do not have actionable data points and give excuses of you have to spend atleast 24 months (when you are in 18th month) or in 24 month they try to sell we tried but your one of the connect was not so well (and that was way long back), so let’s try one more time, just sick mindset without any actionable plan. it is not just my feedback, i have seen this happening in multiple orgs , M365, sharepoint In such kind of environment, WLB look like 🥜
In azure you will get good tech. But WLB is worse than amazon
