Got an option grant for 10000 options over 5 years from JFrog at 65 USD. Is this worth it ? The price has fluctuated too much - 43 to 95 USD. There is almost no wlb for sure. A lot of tech debt on the code side. More focus on features than fixing those or refactoring or building a foundation for that. Not sure if it is worth and the future outlook. Was dealt a bad hand since I did not know how it will be calculated nor was I informed. Almost no company perks. Base pay is all. Can't reveal base pay for anonymity. People are good but I guess everyone does overtime. Adding JFrog to get some perspective (though they are rarely on blind) or empathize and their views on the post. (Won't be revealing the time) Are all Saas companies like this ? #tech #options #ipo #growth #saas
Why option and not Rsu?
RSU option was also given but at a later point and was non-negotiable. RSU value being 1500. This was a bummer since the ratio is way too skewed.
We're you able to join Jfrog? How's the experience work there
Sounds like a pretty shitty job offer. 5 years is along time in a shitshow. You can do better I think.

You can do better. Grab has good credibility, don't waste it on shitty offers.
