Keep active status on slack always
I'm being more productive due to wfh and have bit more free time. I want to utilize that time in a good way (maybe read up some books etc) Does anyone know if there's a slack hack to always look active. I'm delivering my work on time so ideally my manager wouldn't care about my slack status, but not sure if he would. I'm ofcourse available in all meetings and responding to all slack messages within 30 mins... Even while I'm doing my work it's sometimes better to turn off slack.
I heard some ppl use to have a small program that would move the mouse pointer every 10s or so to show available on the messaging app of the time.
I use an app like this, it's called caffeine
Wouldn’t leaving the Mac on w/o sleep mode solve the problem?
When this is all over, think long and hard about working for a company and/or manager whose perception of your work is affected by your Slack status.
