Looking to upgrade my kitchen tiles, cabinets. Roughly around 150 sq ft. Any ballpark around how expensive it can get if I hire a contractor?. Recommendations on websites with kitchen design ideas? Tc 🥜 #housing
60k to 90k
😂 You’re going to do all that and not do appliances, sink, and countertops?
I don’t need a ball park on them since I ordered them already 😎
You shouldn’t have done that. Let the same place/contractor do all of it. Now whoever does the cabinets and counters won’t have the information to engineer around
Thanks. I am thinking of installing tiles myself. Cabinets are going to be tricky
I've done all the work myself in our kitchen except cabinets. I got them from Ikea and they also installed them too. Much better than what big box stores sell.
You can get cheap Chinese cabinets for 8-10k whereas branded stuff can easily be 25k
Where can I get those cheap Chinese cabinets from?
Try KZ kitchens 11k for cabinets, similar sft
If you're lucky and near building material auction cabinets can be cheap as shit
Hmm. How do I locate one?
Google building supply or building material auctions near you Peak is one company with limited locations
You can check Ikea cabinets as well! Personally I like their modern design
Cabinets are expensive. The area is large too. It will mostly depend what kind of upgrades but I think it will be $30K and above.
