I don't think so my team has reqs open still. Wouldn't make sense to lay people off while still hiring..
Do you know what the criteria is? Like performance based or something else and also curious to know how are the people effected being informed. Thank you.

Sorry to hear that. Apple is definitely hiring, we now have a SD campus ( well some buildings)
Apple did not overhire or overpay. Doubt they’ll do any mass layoff
They hired 10k employees in a year? Ok?
