I'd personally go for Spotify since I'd love to work on a product that I use everyday

Spotify.

I can vouch that Spotify is great for work life balance and parents with young kids - esp when it comes to maternity and paternity benefits (don't have kids myself). And personally, I am very happy with the tech work I get to do everyday.

Spotify has great benefits and work life balance. What you work on though will be hit or miss in terms of "good technical work" but there's enough freedom to find fun and engaging work outside of your team's day to day.

Don't work in healthcare unless you feel really passionate about it. The industry is terrible. Growth is typically just above inflation.

Spotify has fantastic WLB and a good parent culture. Feel free to DM me if you have questions.

Spotify is great if you expect to take advantage of paternity leave benefit now (if eligible) or in the near future. I would suggest planning your time here primarily around that. BTW expect no significant professional development or career/TC advancement; which is perfectly ok for a couple of years when you want to focus on time with family.

Do you know how long you have to be at the company to receive the leave benefit? What do I get if I join the company and my wife has a child in 6 months?

Have seen cases (both fathers and mothers) that join and go on paternity leave within a month or so. The process is to make arrangements for the time you'll be gone with manager. Best to fully disclose during hiring, they legally can't use that as a reason to not hire and with the current SJW environment, might even favor you.
