Any pulse on how things are over there? Have a recruiter screening coming up-it’s 45 mins long, never had a initial screening that long. Anything I should expect? #kraken
I had a terrible experience interviewing there. Don’t trust directors or above. Also, toxic and they sue past employees for reviews.
What happened?
Don’t ghost those you get tangible products/demos from.
Avoid.. they shut down their entire exchange last Saturday for maintenance in a 24x7 market.

Ouch didn’t realize. Is the pay worth it for all the mess? I’d say my current role is better but low key is not. Willing to put up with more mess for more pay.
Which role are you looking at and what is your current TC? I've been at Kraken for awhile. I might be able to help.
Compliance area. Current TC 130k. Any interview tips? I passed the recruiter screen-however they hit me up, sounds like the interview process is a bit long?
Overall culture is meh but experience can vary greatly per team. Pretty disorganised as well, a lot of siloes. Full remote is amazing at least.
Ps for your interviews, also know at least the basics of crypto and have a story ready for why you’re interested in crypto specifically.
Good advice! I have a crypto compliance background so that helps. What types of questions did they ask?
I’m looking at kraken or stripe but everything I’m reading about stripe and their wlb scares me
