If it's crypto no brainer
Theyre actively recruiting on linkedin. 🤔 I interviewed with them for a couple different roles. They were very unprofessional. Sorry people are losing their jobs but I hope they find something better soon.
I also interviewed. Super unprofessional is an understatement. Questions seemed very basic. HM seemed upset that I really understood blockchain and she clearly did not. I feel like I dodged a bullet w: this one.
There was one recruiter who was AMAZING. Like really knew how to do her job. I really wanted to be like “pls let me refer you to apple” haha. The other recruiter i talked to was awful. Definitely could tell he didnt think women belonged in tech roles. Wouldnt listen to me, interupted me. Took something i said the wrong way then got mad when i tried to explain. 😂 One manager i interviewed with was very obviously working on other things while interviewing me and not paying attention. He made sarcastic comments and everything. Dude was like in his 50s so its not like it was some 20-something crypto bro
The other red flag for me was I was interviewing around the time things started to heat up w/ Glassdoor exemployee retaliation for negative reviews..and the subpoena which sought to unmask them
I got an offer from them back in March. Thank god I didn't take it, and took Stripe where layoffs also happened lmao
what was the offer like and for what role and level?
I don't remember the level, but it was for a software eng role at about 160k USD base + 40k worth of options at the then-valuation/strike price. I rejected it because I would've been a contractor with not benefits/insurance in Canada.
We are a small team based in Palo Alto solving problems in web3. CypherD Wallet. Please DM if you are interested in joining an early team with ex-Coinbase, ex-Clubhouse builders
I got an offer here. Don’t think I will take it any longer. Not worth the risk.
When did you get the offer ? I was just laid off after working there for a month. Fml.
Blimey - that’s rough! I really feel for you and sorry to hear that. That’s tough after 1 month. What was your role? SWE? Good luck finding your next role tothesun!
For those impacted and want a referral to Atlassian feel free to DM me.
I got turned down by CEO himself in 2020 as I had too much of an audit and controls background.
Bullet dodged….
bullet docged? money dodged as well? jobs aren't meant to be permanent or forever
