Hi What is the range for FB data science for level 5. Tentative figures: 180-40-300. Is this max? YOE 7+ with MS. Have two teams. One in Infra Data Science. Other product. Also within Infra DS heard multiple DS teams. Diff? Thanks

Refreshers for MA are 72k.. so initial grant for exceeds can go up to 360k. Base and sign on are near max..so ask for higher initial grant. Its a solid offer though (you are already a bit higher than MA)
What’s an MA? Also heard that for infra DS work is like core DS team? Does 7+ yoe be level 6?
Meets All Expectations. Not sure about infra role.. Did you do any coding interviews? You need to do those for core DS.. Its really hard to be hired as an IC6.. Most people i know are IC5, with 3-8 years of exp;) You got a good offer for L5 and you can potentially ask a bit more too..
Thanks. Well RSU not gong up much. And u feel base and sign on can go max 190 and 50k? Do u get some hike on comp during reviews? Like 2-3% on base apart from stock refresher? Avg stock refresher is 72/4 or can be 100/4?
There is some increase in base every February..it depends on ur performance and also on how ur salary differs from the target base salary of ur level.. but 2-4% is a good estimate (you wont get this till next year though). Refreshers are multiplied by the average multiplier based on ur performance in last two halves.. meets most is 0.9, meets all is 1.0, exceeds is 1.25, greatly exceeds is 2 and redefines is 3. Standards refreshers for DS at L5 are 72k over 4 years and they are also awarded every february. So you can get a lot more than 72k.. The same multipliers btw are applied in ur bonus (target bonus is 15% of ur salary over the last 6 months) and u get that after each review.
