Hey all, looking for any insights into the current state of Kyndryl. I am at the late stages of the interviewing process and wanted to get some sense of the 1) WLB, 2) stability within, 3) what the comp may look like for a Senior Architect, 4) potential growth for roles, 5) relocation options. Just looking to see if it may be worth a move from EPAM (which is a bit of a hot mess but given this morning's numbers is in positive growth for the company overall). Thanks #kyndryl TC 225k YoE 25
Is it the IBM services branch which spun off into its own entity? With $25B+ in business, it's another big company, for better or worth. I wouldn't expect a drastic departure from the IBM ways of doing things, but maybe someone on the inside can add more recent feedback.
Yeah it is. When interviewing they focused on my older tech stack for client support.... something I am trying to get away from.
They have lots of old tech projects, but newer ones, too, from what I hear. It's just harder to locate those among thousands of teams.
So the potential to stagnate is high. I guess that aligns with some Glassdoor comments about folks just staying put for pensions.
Just like IBM - shit pay shit company and same bs.. I’d avoid
They reached out to me for an interview and were paying around 300k at that time. So you can probably increase your pay and if you're looking to move around in managed services their name will help you, of course.
What role of you don’t mind me asking
Have a look at their stock trend and you should have an idea
WLB is great and there’s a lot of stability, especially for this economy. Pay is mid, but from my experience you don’t get to do much and the wlb makes it worth it for me
OP- did you get the job?
