L VISA Vs. TN Visa
Hello Folks! Looking to understand some pros and cons - 1) Potential Possibility 1 Internal transfer on L-VISA (typically what would salary ranges be like moving to the US on an L Visa) 2) Potential Possibility 2 External offer on a TN Visa? How to decide what is the best combination? less $$ for an immigrant intent US visa Vs. more $$ for a TN status What are the 2 pros and cons in these situations? with l1 you can apply for green card right away, however you are also stuck with the company that sponsored you

Until the EAD from green card is granted. Can be 3-24 months from the I-140 approval.
Speak to a lawyer. People have said you can get grewncard from TN (just harder). You have to jump through a few hoops.
L1 is better overall than TN

Not true at all - L-1 is capped at 6-7 years on that status, and is a more expensive and time consuming process. TN can transfer to green card and never expires and is faster and cheaper and easier. DM me if you want help looking at TN
