Valuation is lower than X and the upside imo is much higher

Reddit is too niche. X has better advertising proposition as a platform. Also the core Reddit crowd is t the best suited for Ads. Reddit is now opting for data as a service for other companies, feed their data to LLMs. However, I don’t think this is a high revenue generating model.

Reddit is not niche at all, not sure why you think that. And if you haven’t noticed, X has only the shittiest ads. Zero major partners now. It’s mostly crypto and influencers self promoting. An individual subreddit is niche, and that is actually incredibly valuable for advertising. Reddit can attract big name advertisers across the site, and targeted advertising for specific subreddits. The subreddit model is also very valuable for the AI training deal they signed with Google. Much of the content is already tagged in a very simple way, as opposed to X where you need to analyze a user’s following and followers to understand the content.
