Being pinged by Recruiting for a spot on the team. Anyone know anyone there? No stocks but supposedly very competitive to MSFT and Goog in total comp. Any feedback?
Same experience as iLJL58 .. the manager extremely rude . He was more interested about what all amazon is doing vs what I have done or what my strengths are. At one point of the interview I was defending about how amazon functions or how amazon's philosophy
must be the same person, he gave me the impression that he doesn't care about what I've done at all, I don't think there can be any other interviewer THAT insufferable in the entire city
they say they pay cash only comp because they are privately held. and they claimed to match Amazon market rates, but cash. I am skeptical.
there is little chance of advancement in japanese and korean companies. they parachute managers and directors from their homeland and some speak poor english and has no idea of the culture here
Yeah unless they pay 300k in cash 💰, nor sure how they compete..
hitachi is letting go of a lot of.ppl ! Stay away for about a month man major reorg happening !
I am baffled by the comments here. Had an onsite interview with hitachi. Everyone I met are super mellow, shy even. Are we talking about the same Bellevue office ?
Curious about offer. Anyone?
Very mediocre. 150k base with some annual cash bonus. Worse than my current Microsoft total package. (FYI: I didn't disclose my ms package when asked to. Maybe should have.)
Similar experience. Mediocre offer of around 140k with an annual bonus that seemingly depends only on company performance. Much worse than my MS package.
due to its short commute, I interviewed for fun, got a technical phone screen from a manager from IoT team, he was ridiculously rude, i made up an excuse to end the call early comp is very competitive? are you serious? how much? can use as leverage but I'd never work with that person
I have no idea on comp so asking. Everyone says competitive :)
I think it'd be a blackmark on your resume. Your peers there would also be of low quality. I'd pass even if the pay was better
