Which companies are willing to send employees to foreign offices once their visas are expired, in order to bring them back on L1A so that an EB1 petition can be filed for a quick Green card? Or is it more driven by the employee himself in any case?
So that you get the green card and leave the company? Why would they do that :)
Why would I leave a company if I am happy there? Because greed, right? Well, that’s a different beast and can infest you even when you don’t have a GC. Plus, if the company is worried about it, it can set up a contract which has monetary penalties when broken.
That happens in India, not here. It's obviously illegal! Employment is at will. I'm pretty sure everyone leaves once they get the GC
Not true! You need sponsorship for both EB1B and C categories. Even for EB1A you should show that you are coming to the US to work in your area of expertise, which typically means an offer .
