Not a great start of the day for pton employees! Any idea which all fields are impacted? If you are, please comment down so people can help you with referrals! https://www.cnbc.com/2022/02/08/peloton-ceo-john-foley-to-step-down-transition-to-executive-chair-as-company-cuts-2800-jobs-says-report.html
Umm, is really going from CEO to executive chairman really stepping down? It's just that John is gonna be more hands off.
Yes it’s a step down when you’re the founder and leaving when things are bad. Can’t see any major tech founder & ceo doing that. You basically left in disgrace
Bezos did that as well
Hmm that does look more and more like a buyout. But who would really benefit from it 🙃
😮
Apple is going to buy peloton
It’s not scam they went public too early to loose.
Damn Peloton is that big ? 10000+ employees ? That’s like AWS size!
AWS has more than 10k! Don’t forget all the data center workers and customer support people
😂😂😂
Apple should buy it and turn it into iBike before it’s snatched by Amazon!
Fits into apples strategy of driving recurring revenue and new apple health service, but have to imagine the hardware component isn’t worth much to apple
Lol. I chuckled loud enough to annoy someone just now.
All departments were affected. Some more than others.
2800 😯
🍻
Product is a scam. They should be jobless a year ago.
It’s not a scam, it’s just easy to replicate and far too expensive.
It's actually not expensive enough. They got the size of the market wrong, and it's a luxury product and not something like Apple which is mid-luxury. Like how do you charge 2k per stationary bike and still lose money
