L4 Airbnb VS. L4 Snap
Positon: MLE YOE: 3 Need to make a decision between Airbnb and Snap. I career about career growth, team culture and I hope the WLB is not bad. Any insight among these two would be very helpful. Airbnb: TC: ~ 349k Pros: - Like the team culture - Typically, take a shorter time to be promoted from 4 → 5. - maybe a relatively low stock price. I heard their refresh program is generous Cons: - The product is not super user-facing. Not sure whether the product is mission-critical for Airbnb’s business. Besides, looks the traffic for the product is less compared with the social media app. ### Snap: TC: ~ 400k Pros: - The team works on some user-facing products. (seems critical to their business) - Their current stock price looks low. Cons: - Not sure about the future of the Company. - Their L4 is a wide range and it takes longer to be promoted. #snap #airbnb

Snap and Airbnb aren't going anywhere. Which team did you like the most and think will give you a good launchpad to grow fast in your career? Money will not be an issue with either. Don't listen to stock analysis on blind because there are so many factors that go into it. Especially not arm chair analysts.
