Base - 37L + 1.8L PF Stocks - 105k Variable - 15% base Jb -5 Current TC - Approx 50L Yoe - 4 This is the final offer. What do you guys suggest? In levels.fyi (https://www.levels.fyi/companies/google/salaries/software-engineer/levels/l4/locations/india) I see some people getting 30L stocks as average rsu(equal to 150k usd). Levels.fyi mentions it is average rsu. Do you think it is average rsu or 1st year rsu ?

Could you tell me about your interview process and the kinds of interviews? And a friend of mine joined Google with 4 YOE last month. He also got similar offer. Slightly lower base and 100k stock

Google usually don’t negotiate much unless you’ve a high competing offer atleast that’s the case in US. Not sure about India. Try if u can get competing offer before the deadline ?
They don't care about talent, they're more focused on getting as many Engs as they can Very unlikely they'll budge, seen a few cases recently where they refused to increase the pay, despite having a competing offer People still end up joining
Google openly talks about firing in the US and hiring in India. In days to come, Google is going to hire like crazy in India and drop in prestige, when you see folks from TCS joining Google. Take this offer, while Google is still prestigious. A couple of lacks here and there wouldn't matter in the long run.
That's not a low ball, it's their standard L4 offer. Also a quick question, what is the salary range for Microsoft for 6-7 yoe, given I have a competing from Amazon or uber around 1.5-1.7
