The man I love hates me because I’m Vietnamese
Hi all, I wanted to get your insight on the offer I received from Meta (5 years of experience) I think it is a lowball: Base: $165k RSU: $155k over 4 years Bonus: 15% target Sign-on: 0 Current TC: $205k ($140k base, $40k RSU, 15% bonus) #Meta #Google #Hardware
Lowball. But depends. Why is your current TC so low? What part of HW design?
I currently do module EE design. imo Google HW pays pretty bad and there is no room to grow.
Design or DV ?
Both current and new role are design
AMD is paying more
lol not true
My offer was better than this for the same YOE.
I am not a hardware engineer but an Embedded SWE so take it with a grain of salt. For HW engineer with 5YOE I think the base is good although RSU can be improved. But one thing I know for sure is that this is better than average Apple ICT3 HW engineer comp.
Thank you for your insight! I requested 175 for base and 200 for RSU. That is my dream but in reality I will take 170 base and 180 RSU.
