L4 square offer review
got an offer from square last week for L4 base 170k rsu 90k/year sign on 10k total tc : 270k i am based in nyc. how much are they willing to move on this? recruiter mentioned base and rsu are hard to move. levels does not have much similar data points

I’d say it looks pretty good, congrats! Still doesn’t hurt to negotiate a bit (maybe ask for 280k TC and just see what they can do)
You can go higher but not by much. My friend got 25k sign on also for nyc
He also got 95k/yr for stock. But again, not a big diff and same base

This is a top offer for L4, but not max offer. You might be able to get a signing bonus, but I wouldn’t expect for total offer to budge unless you get L5.

You’re getting in at a great time and with the Fed announcement there’s probably more pain this month where you’ll get close to a bottom price. Congrats!

'New' people are the most delusional. Levels show $270k is basically top offer for Square at L4.
