Depends on application. Salesforce engineers will be paid at high end of salary band compared to others.

OP is from Sears, not Salesforce. No idea how that would affect TC though.

I think i did not convey it correctly. People who work on applications like Salesforce, Kronos, Oracle Apps, PeopleSoft, Workday etc are tagged to Application Engineer profile. I was saying people hired for working on Salesforce application will get more than people hired for other applications.
