PM is irrelevant role and will die in next 2-3 years.
Hi All- looking for some guidance here. I am a new L7 Sr Manager currently making 500k at AWS. I manage a team of 16 people and responsible for a whole business - P&L and the works (Tech but not Development). Based on my next 3-4 year goal, I am planning to move to a more comfortable role in the Seattle area (Currently in Seattle), expecting about 600k. What levels would they relate to, at Microsoft/Google and Oracle? Been at AWS for 5 years, ex- MICROSOFT 7 years. So about 12 years of pure Cloud experience. I want to work backwards and see if it is even worth the jump. TIA.
L67 or L68 at MS L7 at Google will pay much higher (similar leveling)
L7 will pay "much higher" than $600k?
L7 at Google can go to 750k or higher with exceptions, but to get above 600k-650k you will need competing offers. Current comp does not count as a competing offer.
L66 at Microsoft. L67 is hard for L7, that is partner bench.
Partner bench?
M4 at oracle.
