any thoughts on culver city as a place to rent an aprt? also, curius about the apartment complex called “Access Culver City”. thx
If you can afford and commute to where you need to go is good then it's very good place. Make sure you know traffic situation
Commuting to Santa Monica shouldn’t be the problem, right?
You can take the train directly, and rest scooter or bike or something. Driving to Santa Monica is not easy no matter from where
I live in Culver City! Not as nice as MdR or SM but pretty central location, good neighborhoods. I just don’t like the food scene in Culver City but i can always drive further for better food
Culver City food is excellent don't listen
Well, as far as I know there is a short distance from some major parts like Santa Monica/Downtown, etc
Where do you work at?
Does it really matter?
Yes. Location matter.
Great area. Also playa vista is an awesome area.. the side with the dog park. It's right by LMU
That area is really expensive. Going 3.5k for one bedroom
😲
Culver City itself is great and you're right by the Westfield Mall.
I just made this move a few weeks ago. I dislike MDR. Culver City is nice. I moved just adjacent to Beverly Hills. Although this may add a bit to your drive, the area is very nice too. I'm near the Beverly Grove/ Four Seasons Beverly Hills. Wonderful location imo.
What was wrong with MDR?
It’s a pain to get in and out of and there’s not a lot to do. I work in MDR so I’m experienced in it. Plus I dislike Venice. Not my style.
I used to live near Culver City mall in an apartment place called "Altitude". It was a nice, quiet section near some small residential areas. Close to Playa Vista as well....which is dope as can be. I liked it.
Are you still in LA?
Nah this was a few years ago
