Hello All, Posting this on behalf of a friend. Graduating with a PhD in Chemical Engineering this year. He recently got an invitation for a panel interview at LAM research for Product Engineer role. Any valuable tips & guidance is highly appreciated.
I have a similar interview after holidays for a Mechanical Engineer..Could you share your friend's experience here? Also if he/she received an offer..What was the TC like?

The key will be to demonstrate experience with overcoming challenges during grad school. This includes the challenges from drawing conclusions for one's thesis, and the challenges from needing to fix the equipment (assuming that is part of the struggle in grad school). Bonus points for putting one's research in a broader context. For example, what are some real world application of the research outcome? If this is a customer facing position, showing your ability to work under pressure and to resolve conflict is very helpful.
