Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
I'm laid off bootcamp grad 1.5 YoE Interviewers usually ask about what my bootcamp taught me but honestly it's tutorial level stuff so I just leave it off
Both
I have never understood why people would ever delay anything important for a resume bullet point / 30 second talking point Unless this project is the next kubernetes, its a waste of time You could probably just leetcode, get a job, and get good exp there. Side projects are cool for learning but honestly, overrated. Your busy interviewer is not going to dig deep in your shitty chat app. Maybe, only start ups would
Is your problem getting interviews or passing them? LC doesn't help get interviews, resume and connections do (maybe LC for a blind referral)
I've gotten a few interviews, and I definitely need the work on passing them. Sometimes during phone screens the other party can get concerned that I only write JS/TS because I am a bootcamp grad... But I've been learning fundamentals as a hobby since I was 5. Like OK so I am self taught... But I can read and interpret syntax... I am applying as entry level/junior dev so what's the big deal. I have 1.5 YoE and the only reason I'm out of work is because the execs pissed away all the money flying around the world
If you think I should put a project up - how much time should I spend on it? I'd rather be working on LC with those valuable hours
Why not both? Create a fun side project and LC as a hobby as well.
You're right. I think I'm just looking for an excuse to procrastinate
