Anyone familiar with their comp? They use a formula where comp is at 50th percentile of one's geography, job title, experience, seniority.
I'm sure they know how much Amazon people make. Do they really expect you to take a sizable pay cut? You should ask about comp before you waste your time interviewing with them.
What happens if your location changes? Do they adjust your pay downwards even?

Yes. If you move somewhere for longer than 6 months your salary will be adjusted. Not sure if that 6 months has been updated recently. Basically if you live in the Bay Area you can never leave without a paycut.
