H1B visa situation
Currently i am on furlough situation through Byton until May 31st. What happens if they fire me after May 31 st and i dont find a job after 60 day grace period and be on my spouses H1B visa ( “he dont have i-140 he is on his H1B”) until i find a job and once i get a job do i need to go through the lottery again to get back into my H1B ? Please clarify ..

If your spouse is on H1, you can apply a change of status to H4 and stay in the country. You can apply for an H1 when you get a new job and can only start working when the H1 is approved as your status at the time of applying will be H4.
