Google Marketing to Medallia Marketing, thoughts?

The google folks that have made this leap so far are not very well respected.
can you tell why? anything specific?
I think there's a lot of frustration that we continue to have no visibility in the market. Our product is far and away the best in the space... but at this point competitors (and even companies like surveymonkey that we've never competed with) have first copied and then surpassed our messaging while we've stood still.
The ones I know are happy. It's a nice place to be if you ask me.
Realistically, we've historically under-invested in marketing, so it's not a surprise. I'd disagree that the google folks who have made the leap are. It very well respected.As Marc and his team build, there's a backlog that they're working through while also dealing with an insatiable appetite for more. The team has years to catch up on and that doesn't happen over night.
I have quite a few friends there, and they're quite happy. It's super late stage though , and equity packages are not that high.
