FYI RedHat middleware is a really hard value proposition to sell and kind of behind the times.
Quarkus is an innovative approach if you're tired of Spring Boot and want to stay w Java. Otherwise, fully agree.
I was there when IBM bought us and said "no changes will be made". Then there were several layoffs exactly 30days later. Some people claim that Chiras, a longtime former IBMr, left IBM to come to RH believing she was placed to facilitate the takeover. idk if she was placed but she quickly returned to her IBM ways and rules her fiefdom with false promises and deceit. Those around her know to never turn your back to her. It pains me to see that opensource is dead and now ruled by IBM of all companies.
I’m gonna need a big citation on the Chiras claims, my experience with her has been nothing but awesome. She’s insanely smart. Why do you say this?
@Shad0wman, yes according to herself especially, she's insanely smart and beautiful and is all about those facts. To ask for citation, I can only give my own experience. You could also ask those in the partner management space who chose to leave or retire early after giving her 2yrs once she arrived. Chances were given and the truth was shown again and again when things were said in public and then the exact opposite was directed behind the curtains. Manipulating the external story is easier for those who have a PhD, are young, and look oh so innocent. Compare to the other female colleagues who were also on stage when she joined and look who is left. Its all about the wrapper and manipulation.

Unfortunate, but not unexpected though. Leadership in this part of the org has been absymal for years.
