Laid Off Since October - Need Referrals Please

I am seeking any and all referrals as I am desperate for work after being laid off since October. I am almost out of savings, I have less than one more month of savings before I cannot afford my mortgage and bare minimum expenses. I have applied to 2,000+ jobs. I’ve had several phone screenings, handfuls of interviews, and about 7 final found (4-7 rounds) interviews without any offers extended. When given feedback, I have been told that they went with an internal promotion, preference given to internal referral, or the role has been cancelled due to budget. I am located in the Midwest. My last role was at a pre-ipo company. I am a resourceful person who typically holds my own very well but I am deeply struggling with this job search. I do not have any family who can help me. I am very worried for my future. I have worked so hard for everything that I’ve earned, and I’m afraid it’s going to be lost so quickly. After so many rejections, it’s hard to not feel a bit defeated. I have spent time taking courses (free) to gain more knowledge in other areas and continue growing. I do not have a college degree. I have about 10 years of Engineering experience, and my expertise is in Client Platform/Endpoint Engineering & Device Security (7 years) This layoff has been the shit cherry on top of an overall horrible year. My parent unexpectedly died (under 50 years old) last year, and my spouse suddenly ended our marriage a few days after I buried my parent. The layoff came a few months after my other losses. My divorce finalized last week, but I still have many expenses from it as it was not a quick divorce. The package offered by my former employer was awful (4-weeks of salary), without any budging when attempting to negotiate. Please, I am reaching out to you all for help as I’m unsure if I’ll be able to find work without a referral before I’m completely out of resources. Thank you in advance.
