I was Laid Off from Peloton in February and now from Snap last week. Any recommendation for a Sr. Tech Recruiter with 10 years of experience? Looking for something in: #space #aerospace #augmentedreality #virtualreality #computervision #electricalvehicles #artificialintelligence #web3 #AR #VR #ai TC: Was 150K base | 30K RSU/year
Sorry dude, it's been a tough year for recruiters. Hang in there man
I know some great people who have been laid off. Just a shit economy right now. Sorry!
That sucks. Would suggest going for a more stable company rather than the highest offer.
Actually doing that. I'm having a conversation with Atlassian tomorrow. I like what Im seeing about their tech and culture.
I would still do due diligence on them. They have been struggling this year with outages, every platform under the sun is incorporating comparative functionality and kanban boards, and I have heard rumbles from the sales side.
Iām sorry to hear that NR :( super unlucky but just keep your head up and keep applying!!
who dis...haha
Creepy
What company will you be joining next? I will avoid that :)
haha, hedge against everything I do and you will š to the moon!
Sorry to hear this. Not a good time for recruiters. š£
Yes...in the process of doing that. Registered my LLC...but still, need to find a Full-Time gig so I can qualify for a home loan. Plus, it will take some time to build up enough business to be independent.
Severance twice hug
haha, up 9 months for the year just from severance...but it's still pretty shitty circumstances, especially when trying to build a house (stress š)
Username checks out. Seriously, I hope you land higher than where you fell.
No recommendation but Iām sorry youāre going through this. Thatās a tough battle. Keep fighting.
